Learn about Bed, Twin, Loft and More!

Bed → A bed ( listen ) is a large piece of furniture (or a location) used as a place to sleep, relax, or engage in sexual relations.

Loft → A loft can be an upper storey or attic in a building, directly under the roof. Alternatively, a loft apartment refers to large adaptable open space, often converted for residential use (a converted loft) from some other use, often light industrial. Adding to the confusion, some converted lofts include upper open loft areas.

Twin → A twin is one of two offspring produced in the same pregnancy. Twins can either be monozygotic ("identical"), meaning that they develop from one zygote that splits and forms two embryos, or dizygotic ("fraternal") because they develop from two separate eggs that are fertilized by two separate sperm.

An attic loft can often be converted to form functional living accommodation (see loft conversion).
